Dr. Goddess and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
About Dr. Goddess AI
Dr. Goddess AI is where technology meets humanity, culture, creativity and power. Led by Dr. Kimberly C. Ellis — “Dr. Goddess” — scholar, artist, cultural strategist, entrepreneur and AI educator, Dr. Goddess AI helps individuals, businesses, institutions and communities navigate artificial intelligence through a distinctly human-centered approach to AI transformation.
With more than two decades of experience at the intersection of culture, storytelling, technology and community transformation, Dr. Ellis approaches AI as more than a set of tools. She explores how artificial intelligence can expand economic opportunity, creativity, leadership, narrative power and human potential — while confronting the ethical, cultural and social questions that accompany rapid technological change.
Her work translates AI into practical, accessible strategies for artists and creatives, entrepreneurs and small businesses, nonprofit and community organizations, corporations and institutions, real estate developers, educators, and people navigating career and workforce transitions. From using generative AI to develop businesses, visualize real estate projects and strengthen presentations to exploring the future of Black cultural memory, storytelling and creative expression, Dr. Goddess AI demonstrates how people can use emerging technologies to see possibilities that were previously difficult to imagine.
Dr. Ellis is particularly committed to ensuring that communities historically excluded from technological innovation are not merely consumers of the AI revolution, but creators, decision-makers, owners and leaders within it.
Her workshops, keynotes, trainings and strategic engagements include topics such as Human-Centered AI Transformation™, Digital Power in the AI Era™, AI for Entrepreneurs and Small Business Growth, AI for Real Estate Development, AI for Career Reinvention and Workforce Transition, AI and Black Cultural Memory, and AI for Artists and Creative Communities.
At the center of Dr. Goddess AI is a simple principle:
The future may be powered by artificial intelligence — but it must remain profoundly human.

AI for Creatives
Digital Power in the AI Era helps artists and creative professionals understand how to use artificial intelligence as a tool for imagination, strategy, storytelling and sustainable creative work.
Beginning with the Black Theater Edition, Dr. Goddess AI explores how playwrights, actors, directors, producers and arts organizations can use AI to develop ideas, strengthen storytelling, support marketing and audience engagement, visualize productions and expand the reach of their work—without sacrificing the human voice at the center of the art.
These customized trainings can also be designed for singers, musicians, filmmakers, writers, poets, visual artists, designers and other creative professionals who want to understand how AI can support their craft, business and creative future.
Available for workshops, organizations, creative teams and arts institutions.
Digital Development
with Dr. Goddess
Digital Development in the AI Era explores how artificial intelligence can support equitable real estate development, community wealth building, and resident-led neighborhood transformation.
As Founder and Director of Jumpstart Pittsburgh, a program of the Historic Hill Institute, Dr. Kimberly C. Ellis brings together more than two decades of experience in technology, digital strategy, storytelling, community development, and real estate education. Her approach treats AI not as a replacement for expertise, but as a powerful new skill set—one that can help residents, emerging developers, entrepreneurs, and community organizations better understand opportunities, analyze projects, strengthen proposals, visualize possibilities, communicate ideas, and make more informed development decisions.
Through Jumpstart Pittsburgh and Dr. Goddess AI, Dr. Ellis is particularly focused on putting real estate power in the hands of residents and ensuring that people from historically disinvested communities are equipped to participate meaningfully in neighborhood development and wealth creation.
Her trainings demonstrate practical ways AI can support property research, development planning, market analysis, project visualization, business strategy, communications, funding preparation, and community engagement—while keeping people, place, culture, and equity at the center of the development process.
Available for real estate organizations, community development corporations, municipalities, developers, neighborhood groups, entrepreneurship programs, and educational institutions.
